Who am I?

Who are you is a question I was never able to answer. I am who I am, and everything is what it is. Let’s try to remove all labels, to avoid labeling everyone and take people as they are.

Am I Egyptian? Meh. I was born and raised there, I love the country, more or less love the people. My culture, my ideologies and my beliefs are the furthest thing from.

Am I a writer? I can write, I love to write, but I don’t write nearly as much as I would like to. I don’t know what kind of writing I like to do anymore and who I write for – or even where I want my writing to take me.

Am I a corporate slave? I don’t particularly love or hate my job, I go there to pay the bills. Have I called out? Yes. have I felt guilty because I called out? Most of the time. Do I enjoy doing what I do? Not particularly.

Am I ? I am Raguia. Read my blog, label me if you want to but I have no idea. I am not African, Arab, Egyptian or American. I am not  a Third Culture Kid either. I am not a hipster and I not a hippie. I am not really an artist. I’m a good cook, I’m loud and I’m me. Opinions are more than welcome on any of my posts.
